About the Role:

The Cove Childcare & Preschool is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Teacher to guide and nurture young children through structured, Christ-centered learning. This role requires a committed educator who can provide a warm, engaging, and spiritually enriching environment for our students.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a classroom, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans in alignment with the school’s values and educational framework

• Foster spiritual, emotional, and cognitive growth through Christ-centered leadership and curriculum

• Partner with families to support children's development and learning goals

• Maintain compliance with all policies, licensing requirements, and safety regulations

• Model professional and ethical behavior while collaborating with fellow team members

• Qualifications:

• Previous experience in early childhood education or a related field

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine love for working with children

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Understanding and adherence to childcare policies and best practices

• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred (not required)
